I started making results again this week. Now that I make results again, I feel that having daily goals achieved is much more important than trying to become something great.
I called my customers and talked about both business and daily life. I enjoyed having such time. Perhaps the best way to stay happy and stay afloat is giving myself such rewarding conversations.
I also recall that in the past few days, my mind was “switched” from negative to positive. I succeeded in thinking good things and hoping everyone around me to be happy.
I came across my friend’s old post of me drawing Korean archery.
One of the friends of me and my wife has introduced her father to us. He kindly gave me one of his old Korean bows.
I used to practice Japanese traditional bow(Kyudo, 弓道). I had not practiced after graduating from high school, so it was my first time after about 15 years.
Yet, some things will never go away – especially not the ones you learned with your hard work and physical commitment! I did a good job in drawing the strong Korean bow, which surprised our friend’s kind father.
Compared to Japanese bow, Korean bow is shorter…but stronger! The targets were located more than 80 meters away from the shooters if I recall correctly. That is more than double of what Japanese archers practice.
Due to Covid (and busy work!) I have not managed to practice this beautiful art. I will do my best to stay fit and always be a good archer.
When you set your own goals, you can control your fate. When others set your goals, you have your life controlled by others.
It is important to keep steering your journey, and in order to do that, you have to set your own goals.
As a sales person, I have goals that is given by the company. However, I also have my own goals, which is measurable. By achieving these goals, I can remain as the master of my own life… and stay motivated.
“True nobility is being superior to your former self.”
As a professional salesperson, it is my duty to stay positive and work hard.
The person I respect once told me that when she prays, she never prays for wealth. Instead, she prays for her effort to be rewarded. That way, she can stay both positive and hard working.
I have made my website more English-friendly, because I have figured out that once I started using Instagram frequently, people from non-Japanese/Korean speakers have started visiting my website.
Looking forward to having a great experience here!
